REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge: IT or Electronic Engineer with knowledge of railway security systems at level crossings and train platforms, Knowledge of the tools LDRA and Jira

Specialization: Embedded Software Programming

Experience: minimum 3 years of experience in programming industrial software – embedded systems. Programming in C, C++, Delphi

Tasks:

Programming according to norms EN61508 SIL2 or SIL3, using the tool DOORS

Configuration management using the Programmes “Subversion”

Development of formal Software Tests

Development of security – critical software (DO178B)

Other information: must have security vetting certificate

Languages: English on a very high level minimum C1, German knowledge a plus

Work place: Germany (Frankfurt area), eventually needs to travel

Permanent contract

Requirements and Briefing:

Mechanical Engineer with minimum 5 years experience in construction engineering and site management, and in direct hire construction

Tasks:

  • Coordination of the global construction team
  • Planning and coordination of construction engineering
  • Preparation of construction time schedules
  • Risk management and implementation of mitigating actions
  • Health, safety and environment engineering and implementation

farosI can vividly remember that September in 2008, when suddenly, having just got back from holiday, something had changed in Greece forever. The past was gone; things would never be the same again.

At the time, some predicted the worst was still to come. Six years later, I’m wondering about what has come to pass and what remains to be seen. Regarding the economic crisis, I can’t tell what the next phase will be like. Many here still adopt the ostrich position, believing things will go back to the way they were, that wages will rise, jobs will be available once again and good restaurants will be fully booked.

Fortunately, some of us believe that a change in our nation should begin with a change in ourselves. We don’t turn to our political leaders in despair for them to save us; we ourselves become politicians, and active citizens. This is the way Aristotle taught us – and, as Plato declared: “One of the penalties of refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.”

We’re searching for values: integrity, honesty, justice, cooperation. We go back to ourselves to return as better partners, better business people, better parents – it’s what we call ‘rebounding’.

We embrace challenge and seek our chance.

A missed field goal does not make us bad players. We’re reorganising ourselves, and recovery is a team game.

And there is a coach in every game.

Inspiring, helping to bring out people’s better selves, motivating and, in the end, helping people change.

Coaching in Greece is still a very fresh idea, but judging by its rapid development in the last few years, it will finally attain the status it deserves. The number of professional coaches is increasing and people are more informed about its benefits. It is needed now more than ever.

Sure, there are obstacles hindering its acceptance. We Greeks do not easily turn to specialists for help nor does proactivity run in our blood. We suffer from numerous weaknesses that we ourselves acknowledge, including lack of foresight. Fearing hard work is not one of those weaknesses, despite what some say. We also love family and friends, we savour life, we’re proud, we get through hardships in original ways, we give birth to new ideas, we easily adapt and we are 100 per cent European.

Admittedly, things are not promising. We have 30 per cent unemployment, entrepreneurship is suffocating through lack of liquidity, old ideologies are constantly challenged, political leaders are no longer trusted, and social tension is rising with the shortage of stable and secure points of reference.

We seek in Europe a powerful common voice and action against dangerous trends, such as populism and/or extreme ideologies; we hope for the existence of a common European political vision to deal with them.

Little by little, the voices of the ‘virtuous’ are joining, supported by new collective actions and trends, such as volunteerism, generosity, handcrafting, returning to nature, to our roots, to the everlasting values of love, friendship, hope and persistence, which also characterise Greeks.

As for coaching, it will unlock Greeks, the way Socrates did 2,500 years ago, in his pursuit of the truth innate in everyone. That’s why Socrates holds the title of the very first coach.

Η μάχη του καφέ!

Αν το έχετε παρατηρήσει, όλοι κυκλοφορούμε με ένα πλαστικό – χάρτινο ποτήρι καφέ στο χέρι. Μάλιστα άνθρωποι που μέχρι πρότινος δεν θα περίμενα να ..παίρνουν καφέ απέξω, στο σπίτι τους, στο γραφείο τους με την καφετιέρα …δίπλα.
Υπάρχει κίνητρο σε όλη αυτή τη διαδικασία, η ευχάριστη προσμονή της γεύσης της απόλαυσης, της κοινωνικοποίησης αφού το κάνουν όλοι, της ασφάλειας, να ξεκινήσω τη μέρα μου..τουλάχιστον με ένα καλό καφέ γιατί στη συνέχεια ίσως είναι το μόνο καλό που θα μου έχει συμβεί! Της ενθάρρυνσης, της αυτοπεποίθησης, η/ο καφεπαραγωγός σε κοιτάζει με τόσο ενδιαφέρον για να αποκρυπτογραφήσει τα υψηλά σου μοναδικά γούστα. Τους θαυμάζω πως θυμούνται να σου φτιάξουν ακριβώς τον καφέ που παραγγέλνεις που τις περισσότερες φορές δεν μοιάζει με κανένα άλλον. Τόση ποικιλία στα είδη καφέ, στις γεύσεις, στη γλυκύτητα, στο γλυκαντικό, στη θερμοκρασία, στα πρόσθετα, στα μεγέθη, στην παρουσίαση κλπ. κουράστηκα!
Αναρωτιέμαι πόσο θα κρατήσει αυτή η μόδα, ως πότε θα ξεπηδούν σαν μανιτάρια οι επιχειρηματίες του καφέ, άλλοτε είχαμε τα νύχια τώρα η επιχειρηματικότητα εξαντλείται στο μεθυστικό άρωμα του καφέ!
Γιατί σας τα λέω όλα αυτά. Γιατί κάπου μου φαίνεται υπερβολή όλο αυτό!
Σαν να συμμετέχουμε όλοι με 1-2 ευρώ στην ανεργία του τόπου μας.
Αγοράζοντας όλοι/ες ένα καφέ κάθε πρωί σκεφθείτε πόσα μαζεύονται και συντηρούν αυτά τα μαγαζάκια, τα μικρά όνειρα των νέων και των λιγότερο νέων.
Εύκολη λύση στην αρχή, αλλά σε λίγο θα γίνει…του καφέ!
Ο πόλεμος του καφέ έχει ήδη αρχίσει με κάποια μαγαζάκια να κλείνουν και άλλα με ποικιλότροπες μορφές επικοινωνίας προσπαθούν να δελεάσουν και το τελευταίο απόρθητο φρούριο των αμετανόητων …καφέ στο σπίτι, μήπως μεγαλώσουν την αγορά και επιβιώσουν.
Το άρωμα του καφέ με ενθουσιάζει το αγαπώ, άλλωστε πίνοντας καφέ εκκρίνεται η ενδορφίνη η ορμόνη της αισιοδοξίας (…ο καφές της παρηγοριάς μακριά από μας γι αυτό ισχύει όχι για άλλους λόγους), όμως..
Η επιχειρηματικότητα έχει ρίσκο, ένα από αυτά είναι ο κύκλος ζωής , έναρξη, άνοδος, ανάπτυξη, στασιμότητα, πτώση. Κατά το στάδιο της στασιμότητας, …γίνεται πόλεμος. Όπως σήμερα γίνεται …ο πόλεμος του καφέ.
Ας μην εξαντλήσουμε το ελληνικό δαιμόνιο στην πρόσκαιρη επιχειρηματική ευκαιρία που παρουσιάζεται ως σειρήνα ή ως μέλι, κολλητικό επειδή το κάνουν όλοι. Μην επαναπαύεσθε ότι, ..κάτι θα ξέρουν αυτοί. Μην είστε σίγουροι, το ίδιο πιστεύουν και οι ίδιοι για τους μπροστινούς.
Εγώ πάντως πήρα εσπρεσσιέρα σπίτι και …έχω τύψεις…
